My name is Diana Ruben, the creator of Afterschool Tutoring 4 You.
I am a member of the National Tutoring Association and a Louisiana licensed educator who currently teaches full-time in the classroom. I graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. My other experience has helped me gain training and certification in early childhood development.
With over 14 years of experience helping children and adults reach breakthroughs in learning, Afterschool Tutoring 4 You is my way to give all students an opportunity to get private lessons.
I offer study skills and standardized test preparation, including the ACT and SAT, LEAP and iLEAP, in both individual and group sessions.
I have training working with children with learning barriers such as dyslexia, ADHD, ADD, and children on the Autism spectrum.
My goal is to build up the confidence of each student while incorporating the parents in promoting that student's successful learning.
